About the Role
Under the daily supervision of the Controller, the ERP Inventory Analyst is responsible for ensuring accuracy of NAV inventories for individual suppliers, as well as the total physical inventories of the facility. Responsible for reporting if FEFO is being followed. The location of the position is in the office at our manufacturing facility in Vernon, CA. The ERP Inventory analyst is responsible for;
Production Reconciliation of finished goods, raw materials, and packaging.
ERP System Movements, Expiration reports
Compares inventories to Daily counts and Production reports, and all Transfers and deliveries
Verifies FEFO and FIFO are being followed
Manages and plans the cycle count schedule. Completes all necessary adjustments
Assists in the Inventory Obsolescence analysis and destruction process
Prepares reports such as Production Daily Report entry and Packaging
Assists with the implementation of NAV modules with respect to inventory transactions
Requirements
2 to 5 years food experience
high school diploma or general education degree (GED)
high proficiency in English
Highly flexible; able to work on multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines
Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
Must be able to handle confidential information with complete confidence of management
A high degree organizational development needed for this position
Must be able to identify and implement process/procedure to identify product/customer opportunities
Candidates must be able to identify and prioritize goals and determine well-thought-out and detailed deployment plans to achieve these goals successfully and on time
Maintains safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures; complying with legal codes and regulations
Advanced computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint required
Intermediate or greater skill in Spanish is a plus
25% of time is spent on the production floor where the use of personal protective equipment is required and there is exposure to temperature extremes, dust, and machinery
75% of time is spent in an office environment. Must be able to use a computer (graphs, spreadsheets, data bases), stop watch, measuring devices (tachometer, tape measure), computer projector, flip charts and general office equipment
Employee must carry/lift up to 5 –25 lbs
Frequently required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands · arms; climb stairs, balance; stoop, kneel or crouch; talk and hear
Frequent bending at waist/knees
